After shunning its duties as members of Earth, Chevron has failed to fix the damage it caused to Ecuador.  Mother Jones reports that Chevron is getting into some trouble with its shareholders for not paying up what it owes the people of the Rainforest. Texaco, now owned by Chevron, poisoned the earth, forced the courts to hear the case in a Ecuador rather than the U.S. Perhaps, Ecuador appeared to be a country where they could buy a judge, but that didn’t work out for them and now they owe billions and don’t want to pay up.
