There are some really cool things for architects and designers that we've gotten together for color. Our colorchart is 1750 colors, designed by a European team of colorists and designers. It includes a real nice book, posters and fandecks of course. The colors are very current and they have a sophisticated yet natural authenticity to them that is very refreshing. We can put these colors in the Paints, Wood & Masonry Finishes and Plasters.
There is a software program that goes with the system and like others it enables you to color the walls and trim, floor and ceiling in front of the customer, however, our system also allows you to do it with our fandeck or anyone else’s! And you can take any color that you can find on your computer, click formulate, and it will make that color in any of our products!
For instance, if you have a client who "just has got to have canary yellow". You can go to google, type in canary, go the best image, zero in on the exact pixel she likes and formulate that color for her walls right in front of her eyes! In paint or in any of our products!
You can have all of your customers download the CBN Selector software to use in their designing process. Then when a color is chosen their software will collaborate with your Formulator Software.
It's a very cool system and the only one I'm aware of that does it all sustainably and w/ non toxic colorant!

Formulator- Is the software that a store needs to make the colors. It provides the exact formula you will need to shoot into the can. This software is available through CBN or via www.colorcharts.org
We are really excited about this system. Earthpaint doesn’t make any money on the system. It just makes selling our paint easier. It clearly helps people to make good color choices, easier, faster.
Colorant
Colorant is the raw pigment required to make all of the colors that the software can formulate. These come in cases / 6 quarts to a case. A full set is 12 colors. These are low voc, low odor, colorants. They are locally made and provide excellent tint strength, which means you’ll use less colorant.
The software will also automatically choose the most affordable method of producing each color. Of all of the “low voc” colorants that we tested these were the lowest odor, highest quality pigments. We carefully selected a large array of Earth Pigments with a few non toxic organic pigments to achieve the brighter colors. Light fastness is excellent with most of the colors made using this pigment set. Oxides tend to be more light fast in exterior applications.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Tinted paints are non refundable. We will do our best to match your color choice but no tinting system is perfect. The best way to get exact colors is to do it at your local paint store. Earthpaint uses LOW VOC, LOW ODOR, APE Free pigments. These are usually available at Earthpaint stores. For this reason we offer tinting to online customers but this is with the understanding that it may not be "exactly the color you saw on your monitor or fandeck.
