Laurel Nest Yurts are Asheville's yurt company. They try to help people get into yurts. You can have them build the yurt for you, or you can use their yurt building manual (available spring 2010) to build it yourself. They use natural materials when permitted, and try to incorporate as many sustainable practices as they can. They offer shelter yurts and yurts that can be used for greenhouses, gardening, a children's playhouse, and other customized yurts.
