The main ingredient, D-limonene, has a GRAS (Generally Recognized As Safe) rating by the FDA as a food additive. It is however, a strong solvent that must be respected. We use very little d-limonene in our products and only because it works great and does very little harm as a VOC. This is especially true since it comes from Trees which live for decades or even centuries by removing CO2 from the atmoshphere.
