DESCRIPTION: Never Peel is a powerful penetrating water repellent for use on concrete and wood. The zero voc product can be easily applied onto porous wood and concrete. It creates a durable, breathable coating that will keep dirt, water, and debris from contaminating the surface. There is practically no odor and the ingredients are non flammable and non hazardous. It is a fast and simple way to protect wood from water. Never Peel is excellent as a top coat sealer for Wood Assure 1. It works great on raw wood and masonry surfaces that are absorbent and will keep them from absorbing dirt and water yet look as if nothing is there. Until it rains. Then you see it in action. It's invisible. It repels water and best of all it is super easy to maintain and will Never Peel!

Concrete and Brick buildings are protected from absorbing rain and moisture which prolongs the life of the building. Maintenance is simple and affordable. The product is delivered in a highly concentrated form which lowers cost on packaging and shipping. It sprays easily and is not offensive to the painter or people in the building. Driven rain will be repelled while trapped moisture will be able to safely escape to the outside. Never Peel is a state of the art, breathable, zero voc coating that repels water on wood and concrete.

At less than $30/gal it is also a cost effective way to protect large surfaces that must be easily maintained. Never Peel is super easy to apply with a brush and roller or with a sprayer. There is practically no odor whatsoever! Never Peel is an excellent choice for Cape Cod style Cedar homes where the natural greying of the sun is desired but water protection is preferred. It is also excellent for masonry homes and commercial buildings where brick, block and concrete tend to absorb moisture. By applying Never Peel to these surfaces you can stop moisture from saturating the building which has been proven to make buildings last longer. Never Peel is perfect as a top coat over Wood Assure 1 for high mold / high sun regions that require strong yet easy to maintain water and sun blocking protection.

USES: Residential, Commercial, Industrial Wood and Concrete Surface.

THEORETICAL COVERAGE: Rough and Dry Concrete 250-300 sft / gl. New and Smooth Surfaces 500-800 sft / gl. One gallon of Never Peel Concentrate makes five gallons of water repellent. Covering 1250-4000 sft / five gallon pail.

DILUTION: Makes Five Gallons. Never Peel comes in a one gallon concentrate. Add one Gallon of Never Peel concentrate to Four Gallons of Water.

PREPARING WOOD FOR NEVER PEEL: Wood should be clean, raw, porous and able to accept moisture. For new wood that has been outside for more than a few days it should be washed with Earth Clean diluted 1:1 with water. For wood that has previously been coated it may need to be stripped with a pressure washer or sanded. Lime Clean will remove most semi transparent stains and is an excellent wood cleaner to use on decks and easy to wash surfaces.

EXISTING COATINGS: Do not apply Never Peel over non porous surfaces. If an existing coating exists it can be given water repellent qualities but only if it is porous enough to absorb Never Peel. For example, Wood Assure wicks Never Peel through itself and into the wood. But if you apply Never Peel to Clear Skies Satin it would just lay on the surface. Never Peel needs to absorb into the wood for it to work properly.

PREPARATION: Concrete and Brick Buildings: Wash with Earth Clean and rinse with Hose or Pressure Washer.
Concrete Floors: Wash with Earth Clean and rinse with hose or Pressure Washer.
New wood: Scrub surfaces with Lime Clean or Earth Clean and rinse with a hose or pressure washer.

EXISTING WOOD: Scrub with Lime Clean or Sand to remove existing coatings.

WOOD ASSURE 1 COATED WOOD: No prep. Apply directly over Wood Assure 1 within 21 days of application. If longer than 21 days wash first with Earth Clean.  

WOOD PREVIOUSLY COATED WITH NEVER PEEL: Spray with water. If the water doesn’t bead up and is able to soak into the wood it is time to re-coat. Wash with Earth Clean and re-coat.

LIMITATIONS: Never Peel must be applied to porous surfaces only. It must penetrate the surface. Do not apply to unclean surfaces with dirt, algae, mold or mildew on them; it will compromise performance. Product is a clear coating and will not stop wood from greying. Use Wood Assure first and then Never Peel to prevent wood from greying.


DRY TIME AFTER WASHING: 1 dry warm day or when dry. Do not coat moist or damp surfaces.

APPLICATION TEMPERATURE: Do not apply below 50F. (70-80F is ideal for faster drying)

4:1 DILUTION: Add 4 gallons of water to one gallon of Never Peel.

STIR: Stir before using.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: Can be found clearly outlined on the Back Label.


DRY TIME: Dries to touch in 6-24 hours @ 75F & 50% R.H. Typically wet on wet coats can be done as long as they are applied within 1-3 hours of each other. Water beading starts after 24-48 hours as the product cures.

RAIN: Avoid rain for the first 24 hours after application. Never Peel rapidly gains moisture resistance within the first 24 hours. If it rains hard within a day or two of application it may be necessary to re-coat. This applies particularly to horizontal surfaces where prolonged rain lays on uncured, undried Never Peel. When the surface dries it should repel water. If it rains the first day and washes the coating away and water does not bead up when it dries, a recoat is necessary. Siding and vertical surfaces generally can endure a light to medium rain shower withing the first 24 hours.

CLEAN UP: Use Earth Clean and Water.

MAINTENANCE: Wash every Spring and Fall with diluted Earth Clean Heavy Duty Cleaner. Rinse with a hose or pressure washer. Recoat as needed to bolster previous coats. When water no longer beads up on surface it is time to wash and recoat.

STORAGE: Keep container in a cool dry place with Temp. between 55-75F. Used product should be poured into the smallest container so air in the vessel is minimal.

SHELF LIFE: 1 year from purchase date in unopened, factory sealed container.
