Sheen: Gloss or satin. Gloss when wiped or mopped on as a beautiful film. Satin when rubbed in as a rubbing oil.

The components are non food source, renewable waste products which means they do not contribute to the current farmland and food shortages that soy or corn Bio Fuels have contibuted to.

We've been able to exceed the hardness, chemical and water resistance of many polyurethanes while achieving a georgeous natural glow! Rub this on your timbers. This is what Log Cabins crave!

Rubbing Oil: As a rubbing oil the product cannot be matched. The satin sheen is very natural and warm. Yet it fully penetrates the wood and hardens it. This makes for very easy maintenance when necesarry, since it never has to be stripped. To maintain you just clean the area, wipe it on, and wipe it dry. Walk on it within hours. No downtime!

Commercial Use: An excellent choice for restaurants and businesses who often wind up with a very badly worn polyurethane floor. This happens because the sanding and the stink from the poly makes it implausible to maintain regularly. With Mountain used as a rubbing oil, you just clean it up, mop it on and wipe it dry. The coating seals the wood fibres, looks great and is ready for business in a few hours. Or if the hard film is needed you can recoat Mountain without the toxic solvent smells. Mountain is qualified for LEED hardwood floors.

Doesn't have it!: Earthpaint never uses n-methylpyrrolidone (NMP) the low odor, toxic solvent in water based polyurethanes (yep, even some "green" ones) and we never will!!! Nor do we use ethyl benzene, xylene, isopar (mineral spirits), stoddard solvent or poisons like these (also in some so called "green" products). We use pure, renewable citrus solvents made from the waste of oranges! Citrus is currently the most responsible option for coatings when all things are considered.
