It does not darken the wood as much as an oil based finish. It is perfect for those looking for a fast drying, low odor wood finish that keeps the light natural hues of wood. For those looking for the deeper tones of an oil based finish, Bio Poly Natural can be applied first and then top coated with NanoTech.

Wood Floor Finish: NanoTech is a great replacement for water based polyurethane. In fact it is more advanced than any water based polyurethane we have ever seen. Wood can be coated exterior as well as interior. The bond strength is amazing. We have coated high gloss, old epoxy without sanding. Bond strength measured an unheard of 700 psi! Testing is always required before coating anything but we have found that NanoTech bonds exceptionally well to glossy surfaces without sanding. Compare to Bona Traffic or Basic Streetshoe 275.
Fast Drying: NanoTech can be topcoated quickly. Ordinarily this would mean that the product dries too fast and will show lap marks. NOT SO with NanoTech. This finish lays down so super smooth that even on a gym floor you can mop it on and have no visible lap issues! Even better you can finish that gym the same day and never have to break down and clean up your tools again. The chemical resistant, waterproof film is ready for business in a couple hours after the final coat is applied. Allow to dry overnight if applying four coats in a day. Ideal drying conditions are 50% R.H., 75F, light cross ventilation of fresh air. Even on rainy days we can apply a coat in the morning and a coat in the afternoon.
Square Foot Coverage: You get more for your money with a product of this quality. We generally recommend a spread rate of 400-500 sft / gal but often see this finish cover 800 sft / gallon when mopped on hardwoods. As a general rule, always figure less coverage on absorbent pine and softwoods, ESPECIALLY reclaimed woods since they need to absorb more product to fully saturate the wood fiber cell. This is the case regardless of product chosen. Concrete Floors that are rolled typically cover 400-600 sq ft per gallon. This will depend on how thick the roller nap is and how thick the person applying lays the product down. It is very hard to misapply this finish.

Nano Tech is an excellent stain vehicle. All of our wood finishes come clear and then get tinted. We love the way NanoTech stains wood. Our furniture makers have been very impressed with its staining ability. The fact that boards can be stained, topcoated and hung all in one day is a big plus. Most stains are heavily diluted. We don't believe in this. Instead we saturate raw wood fiber cells with dense resin and stain color. This creates a more lively look and takes less clear topcoats to fully seal the floor.
FLOOR STAINING APPLICATION TIP:
On large surfaces add a little water to NanoTech to help stay wet longer. Or use Bio Poly NT as your stain vehicle. Water based stains like NanoTech are easy to use on small surfaces like doors and windows but they can be tricky to use on large areas like big floors because they dry fast and thus could show a lapmark due to the stain overlapping. Instead of one uniform coat, where the overlap occurs the stain can appear as two coats. This is easy to avoid by keeping a wet edge and having someone wipe down right behind you, leaving it perfectly smooth. However, if this is too hard for you to do on very large areas, such as floors. We recommend using a high quality natural tree resin like Bio Poly NT as the stain vehicle on floors. You will have to wait 24-48 hours to recoat but it will look fantastic! And be easy to apply.

Up to 1000 sft / gal. (stain can be diluted with up to 1 quart per gallon with water to extend working time. Top coat stain with NanoTech Clear 00 x 2 coats.)

Application Summary:
Floors -Mop on with our foam floor applicator pad or a T-bar.
Woodwork - Brush, roll or spray (fine tip, flush lines with Earth Clean and water).
Concrete - Prep. Mop, Roll or Spray.
Application Wood Floors: Mop onto floor with a lint free wood floor mop. Cut in corners with a brush as needed and then mop into the cut in, working your way out of the room. Mop with the grain of the wood. Recoat every 30-90 minutes. Apply 2-4 coats.
Application Concrete Floors: Roll or spray onto dry floor. Product is highly blush resistant and bonds extremely well, however, insure that proper preparation procedures are followed before coating.
Dilute: Use water.
Clean Up: Use water.
Daily Cleaning: Wash with Earth Clean and water.
Maintenance: Sand smooth, wash with Earth Clean and roll or mop on another coat. This is an easy way to freshen up an old floor. If the floor is in very bad shape consult with your floor finish professional.
Spraying Notes: NanoTech is sensitive to oils. The spray gun filters, lines and pump all must be thoroughly flushed. We use Earth Clean and water to clean the lines. 1 Pint of Earth Clean in 1 Gallon of water is generally sufficient to clean the lines very well. The gun itself, if it was used for oil based materials previously, must be taken apart and cleaned. Otherwise, any particles in the filter may retain oil droplets which can break free during spraying and may cause fish eyes, pinholes or separation.

NanoTech is a durable, deeply penetrating Concrete Stain & Sealer. Simply prep first then roll on multiple coats and forget about it. Or it can be used to create artistic concrete stain designs. It is a very fast and easy concrete stain to apply over large areas in a short amount of time. Staining and recoating can be done the same day. A real masterpiece can be created for those who wish to stain concrete in special ways. The fast drying, high density nature of the stain allows for a great deal of stain flexibility. Deep, rich hues can be created as well as very light colors.

Stunningly beautiful concrete floors are created by rolling NanoTech Clear 00 over concrete stain. 2 or more clear coats are recommended.
Preparation:
Acid Wash, Blast or Grind the Concrete. Remove heavy grease in advance with Earth Clean.
Concrete Stain:
